It takes just a few minutes to get your digital scale up and running. You'll need the companion app (Arboleaf) and an account, so get those ready first. If you workout more than 10 hours a week, we suggest you select "athlete mode" for more exact readings. Follow the prompts in the app, wait for the weight scale with body fat and muscle to connect to Bluetooth, and allow the setup to finish. At that point, your scale is ready to go. With the batteries installed, your scale's panel will illuminate, indicating that it is ready for use. Find a hard, flat surface to place the digital weight scale, slip off any shoes or socks, and step on to collect your first measurement.

The smart scale's digital weight and body fat show you your weight. The rest of the 13 measurements are then viewed in the Arboleaf app over Bluetooth. These are a great way to build up a complete picture of your health, and all of this data can be exported to Apple Health, Fitbit or Google Fit. The Arboleaf electronic scale uses bioelectrical impedance analysis, or BIA, to detect details like body fat percentage and bone mass. This process involves a very weak electrical current that runs through the body, which can affect pacemakers. So people who wear medical devices like pacemakers are not recommended to use body fat scales.

This version of the scale enjoys several unique message hints: Lo means low battery, please replace new batteries; Err1 means the measurement keeps changing; Err2 means the scale fails to go back to zero. The scale requires 1.5V AAA batteries, and 1.2V rechargeable AAA batteries should not be used as they may not work.
